Gold Medal Smile

The 2014 winter Olympics have finally come to a close.  It was an exciting event in which we watched the American athletes compete and win 28 medals.  Seeing these young competitors as they stepped up to receive their medals was so inspiring.  Their smiles tell a story of great achievement, hard work and dedication.

It makes me think about the smiles we see in the office everyday from the parents, adults and children who come to us for orthodontic care. It is amazing and so rewarding to see the smile on a patient’s face as their braces are removed for the first time.  It’s that “Gold Medal Smile” and one that puts a smile on the face of everyone in the office.

As we salute all those athletes who represented their countries in the 2014 Winter Games, we would like to salute all our patients for their hard work and dedication to their orthodontic treatment.  Here’s to you and your “Gold Medal Smile.”
